BOM to Clipboard macro file size: bytes
This macro works with SolidWorks drawings that contain a table-style BOM (bill of materials). Run the macro, and the BOM is copied as tab-delimited text to the clipboard, where it can be pasted into other applications such as MS Excel.
Example of use: Start with a SW drawing of an assembly with a table-style BOM (not an Excel-based BOM). Run the macro. If successful, a message box like the one below will appear. Open a blank Excel worksheet, select a cell and type ctrl-v, and the BOM will be pasted into Excel.
